Privacy policy

VixBooks.com provides four cloud products: Accounting & Finance, Real Estate Builders CRM, Wholesale Distribution and Property & Rental Management. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, phone number, company name and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Your business data: what you and your team enter in our products, such as customers, members, tenants, products, invoices, payments and documents. This data belongs to you.
• Payment information: subscriptions are paid through Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Usage and device information: log entries (time, IP address, browser) that keep the service secure and working, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.
• Website measurement: our website uses the Google Ads tag to count sign-ups from our ads.

How we use it

• To provide, secure and support the products you use, and to send messages you ask for (for example invoices, statements, reminders and receipts to your own customers).
• To manage your free trial and subscription, and to tell you about important changes to the service.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the service, under their own security and privacy terms: hosting (SmarterASP.NET for the products, Google Firebase for this website), Stripe for payments, and email delivery. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

Data is stored on secure servers and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's, and access inside your company follows the roles and permissions you set.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, you can ask us to delete your data; we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law.

Your choices

• See, correct or export your data from inside the product, or ask us to do it.
• Ask us to delete your account and data.
• Stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.

Children

Our products are for businesses and are not meant for children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top and tell account owners about important changes.
